ENACTUS IRELAND TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. Introduction 

Enactus Ireland is using the LaunchPad6 Competition Platform for the Enactus Ireland National Competition 2021. LaunchPad6 is licensed through Enactus Worldwide. The Enactus Ireland Competition Platform has been created to facilitate the online voting for Opening and Final Round Judges for the Enactus Ireland National Competition.

LaunchPad6 is an online contest and competition management platform. LaunchPad6 is a company registered in Australia (company no. 25 606 872 155) 

  1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing and using the Platform in any way, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the following Terms and Conditions, including the terms of the Privacy Policy https://www.enactus.ie/privacy-policy and you agree to be bound by them and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your conduct on the Site and the use of the Platform.

  1. Registration& Personal Data 

In order to become a registered User of the Platform you have provided us with several details about yourself by filling out the Enactus Ireland Judge Registration Form. The details we need in order to enrol you, consists of, among others, your real name and your active email address. The Enactus Ireland team have created your account and provided you with your login credentials and password by email in advance of the competition. Your details will be removed from the platform within one week of the end of the competition. 

  1. Data Processing

Both the Data Controller and the Data Processor comply with their obligations under EU Regulation 2016/279 “GDPR”. 

As the Data Controller, Enactus Ireland will use your data for the purpose of judging at the Enactus Ireland National Competition 2021. We do not sell or disclose data to third parties. We only share data in line with our Privacy Policy. If you no longer want to judge at the Enactus Ireland National Competition, please contact us and we will remove your details from this platform. 

PRIVACY POLICY 

Enactus Ireland respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Enactus Ireland complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1998 & 2003 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force in the EU on 25th May 2018 GDPR. 

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information processing activities and outlines how Enactus Ireland collect and look after your personal information in accordance with GDPR and tell you about your privacy rights.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT 

We collect and process various categories of personal information at the start of and for the duration of your relationship with us. We will limit the collection and processing of information to information necessary to achieve one or more legitimate purposes as identified in this notice. Personal Information may include:

HOW/WHERE WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

Enactus Ireland Events  

We collect your personal information and contact details when you register for an Enactus Ireland event. Relevant personal data will be collected to ensure you are fully able to engage in the activities at the event and to ensure we have the relevant information to properly protect you whilst on site at our events. Once you have registered and consented to be contacted by us, we will share event related news and updates and may contact you about any future events we think you may be interested in. We use a third-party service provider, Eventbrite, for our events and to register your details: for more information please see Eventbrite’s Privacy Policy here. 

Mentors, Advisors and Students  

If you register as a member of the Enactus Ireland Network (which includes but is not limited to: Student Team Member, University Adviser/Business Adviser/Alumni Mentor or Partner Organisation), we will request some of your personal data. We will collect information only where relevant and send you news, updates and relevant communications. Your details will only be shared with others in the network once you have consented. Periodically we will ask you to participate in surveys which help us to assess our work, create reports (using anonymised data only) and to inform improvements in our programme. 

The Enactus Ireland Website 

By visiting www.enactus.ie, you are accepting the terms of the Website Privacy Policy. This website contains external links to other websites and Enactus Ireland is not held responsible for the privacy policies of these other websites. 

 

The Enactus Ireland website does not store or capture any personal information when someone visits it. The system will log your IP address along with other information provided by your browser. This may include the name and version of the browser you are using, your operating system and any website address that referred you to the Enactus Ireland Website. This information will only be used for producing anonymous website statistics and will be used to help us with the delivery of services on the website. 

However, the system will record personal information if you

Cookies 

When you visit the Enactus Ireland website pages, a small text file called a ‘cookie’ is downloaded onto your computer. This is called a session cookie. We will use this type of cookie to collect aggregated website statistics that allow us to understand how visitors use the site. All of the information collected will be anonymous and only used to help us improve the website and report to funders and other stakeholders on usage. 

A persistent cookie will be downloaded when you first visit the site. These remain in your browsers cookie store between sessions. This type of cookie will allow us to identify repeat visitors to the site.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month.

CHANGES TO HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION 

From time to time we may change the way we use your information. Where we believe you may not reasonably expect such a change we will notify you and will allow you a period of at least 30 days for you to raise any objections before that change is made. However, please note that in some cases, if you do not agree to such changes if may not be possible for you to continue to be involved in the organisation or for us to continue to provide certain services to you.

We will only use and share your information where it is necessary for us to carry out our business activities.

We will not share your information with anyone outside Enactus Ireland except:

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION 

Through your involvement in Enactus Ireland we create records that contain your information. Records can be held on a variety of media (physical or electronic) and formats. 

We manage our records to help serve those involved with Enactus Ireland well (for example for operational reasons such as attending group sessions) and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Records help demonstrate that we are meeting our responsibilities and to keep as evidence of our activities. 

Retention periods for records are determined based on the type of record, the nature of the activity or service and the applicable legal and regulatory requirements. We normally keep records for up to four years after your involvement with Enactus Ireland ends whilst other records are retained for shorter periods. Retention periods may be changed from time to time based on business or legal and regulatory requirements. 

We may on exception retain your information for longer periods particularly where we need to withhold destruction or disposal based on an order from the courts or an investigation by law enforcement agencies or our regulators. 

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION? 

Enactus Ireland takes, and will continue to take, all reasonable steps (which includes relevant technical and organisational measures) to guarantee the safety of the data you provide to us and we will only use the data for the intended purpose. 

However, the nature of the internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet will be 100% secure. 

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We may also release your personal data where compliance with legal requirements is a necessity. We also reserve the right to enforce our site policies in order to protect our rights and the rights of other individuals in a manner that is safe and compliant with the law.
